I recently stayed at Ocean Caves in Balapitiya for a few days and had the most amazing experience. The location of the property is perfect, just a short walk away from a beautiful and quiet beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure that our breakfast and dinner were tailored to our taste. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the AC and shower worked perfectly. One of the highlights of our stay was the private beach, which was only a two-minute walk away. We also had the pleasure of meeting Nicolas, a fantastic host who made our stay even more enjoyable. He took us on a tour of the surrounding area, including the nearby beaches and even a little rock climbing adventure. The morning coffee by the beach was something I will never forget. If you're looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway at a great price, I highly recommend Ocean Caves.

I recently stayed at Ocean Caves in beautiful Balapitiya for a relaxing getaway. The location of the hotel is truly special, with its cliff top position overlooking a private, unpolluted beach. The friendly and supportive staff ensured we had everything we needed, and the fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals. The swimming pool was a great alternative to the sea, and the owner helped us arrange a boat trip along the Madu river, where we enjoyed fish therapy and visited cinnamon island. The reasonable price and overall experience made this stay worth every penny.

Wow! This place has it all - bike rental, water sports, private beach. The breakfast is a la carte, and the nearest airports are Ratmalana and Koggala. The accommodation even has a dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. Plus, there's free wifi, a restaurant, outdoor pool, and BBQ. So much fun!

Oh, and let's not forget the amazing sarcastic touch of not having a hair dryer. Who needs one of those, right?

Had a blast at this hotel! The beach was unreal, seriously amazing. And the private pool was on point. Plus, the staff rocked - super friendly and helpful. They even hooked us up with a sweet boat trip on the river.

A few minor problems tho. The hot water in our room was a no-go, it was like taking an Arctic shower.
